CAMPFIRE WITH THE TEXAS RANGERS

Texas RangersThursday, Oct. 4; 5:00 pm-7:00 pm
Cass County Rodeo Grounds
Free Event for the Kids!
children 14 and under accompanied by parent or guardian.

Hot dogs, root beer and deputy badges (badges to the first 300 kids). This is an opportunity to meet and talk with Real Texas Rangers. The Texas Rangers have been in existence since 1823 and are an investigative division of the Texas Department of Public Safety.  The Rangers have protected the people of Texas since colonizer Stephen F. Austin first called men to "Range" the frontier.  The Ranger symbolizes a unique heritage as law enforcement officers as they depict the colorful traditions they have inherited from their colorful past of displaying their boots, white hats, and wearing the pistol belts of their predecessors.  The Texas Rangers are a heritage to be valued and a symbol of service to the future of Texas.
